Lithuania’s AI Funding Programme Creates Opportunities for Healthcare Technology

On 26 October, Lithuania’s European Digital Innovation Hub highlighted funding opportunities for businesses implementing artificial intelligence, with the national programme carrying a total allocation of €7.5 million, approximately US$8.9 million. Individual eligible projects may receive between €15,000 and €70,000, subject to programme rules; the funding is directed at qualifying industrial companies and production-process digitalisation, so healthcare projects should not be assumed eligible.
