Paraguay’s Peanut Industry Targets 40,000–50,000 Tonnes for Export
On 2 November 2026, Paraguayan peanut-sector representatives reported growing interest from European buyers following the SIAL food exhibition in Paris. Industry estimates placed the current planted area at approximately 20,000–25,000 hectares, with exportable production of 40,000–50,000 tonnes projected for the next campaign; the sector’s longer-term ambition is to reach 100,000 hectares within ten years. The opportunity creates demand for export-market research, commodity intelligence and logistics analysis. HPC can support agribusinesses with demand forecasting, pricing analytics and international market research.
